THISTL is collaborating with Prosperity Connection to offer a credit basics course specifically for trans and gender-expansive humans. Topics include: Creating Your Spending Plan, Understanding Credit, How to Read Your Credit Report, Using Credit Cards Wisely, and Building Credit

The live virtual courses will occur over two Thursday evenings and last 1.5-2 hours each. THISTL will cover the cost of the course, materials, and course follow-up including:

• Soft pull of Equifax credit report + FICO score
• Summary sheet with personalized action steps
• Folder with credit building resources
• Up to 30-minute 1:1 consultation with a PC staff member or trained volunteer

Registration is open for two live virtual cohorts. Participants will be eligible to receive a $100 stipend once they have completed both classes. You are not required to attend the 1:1 counseling session to receive your stipend, but it is highly recommended.
