THISTL is collaborating with non-profit partners to offer a Homeownership Education course specifically for trans and gender-expansive humans. Learn about the home purchasing process, as well as important information about household budgeting, upkeep, and affordability. This course may also qualify you for down payment assistance based on eligibility rules and current availability.

The live course will occur on a Saturday and last approx. 8 hours. THISTL will cover the cost of the course, materials, and 1:1 virtual post-sessions with a certified HUD housing counselor. Lunch is provided. THISTL will provide a $120 stipend upon course completion. 

The virtual cohort launches on the first day of the selected month and participants will have one month to complete the self-paced curriculum (4-6 hours). Participants will be eligible to receive a $100 stipend once they have completed the online curriculum and attended the live Zoom wrap-up.
